FBI shoots suspected heroin dealer who tries to escape - JSOnline: "suspected drug dealer was wounded Thursday afternoon while attempting to escape arrest by an FBI agent and other law enforcement officers, according to an FBI news release.
According to the release, shortly before 12:30 p.m. the agent and officers with the local High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force attempted to arrest the man near south 84th St. and W. Schlinger Ave. on a state warrant for possession with intent to deliver heroin.
The man suffered a non-life-threatening wound when 'a shot was fired' as he attempted to flee and the incident is under investigation, according to the release."
